About the Artwork
A New BLINK Anniversary Print
Two years ago, we introduced the Coming of Age mural series during Cincinnati’s BLINK festival. With BLINK returning next week, we’re releasing a new limited-edition print to mark that anniversary.
Inspired by Gee Horton’s three murals along Vine Street in Over-the-Rhine, the print carries forward the series’ reflections on identity, the Black experience, and cultural heritage. This is our second BLINK print release, revisiting familiar elements from Coming of Age with a new look and feel.
An edition of 49 signed and numbered prints.
19 are available online now. The remaining 30 will be available exclusively in person at Prints, Plants & Friends, our Cincinnati Art Week pop-up:
October 3 | 4–8 PM October 4 | 12–6 PM October 7 | 6–9 PM
Pop Up Location: 56 E. McMicken Ave., Cincinnati
About the Mural Series:
The murals explore the journey of Black adolescence, blending human form with cultural symbols to evoke pride and beauty. Each figure reflects the experience of navigating identity, belonging, and heritage.
This print offers a unique opportunity to own a piece of Cincinnati’s artistic legacy, celebrating the power of public art.
